Monthly digital publication was inspired by Ty i Ja magazine, first life style magazine in Poland, in print from May 1960 to December 1973.
Aprilâs purpose was to simply document Aleksandraâs interests throughout the month in a visual matter.
When deciding on a name of the magazine the decision was pretty simple. April which translates to KwiecieĊ in Polish, Aleksandraâs last name. She carries much pride in her last name and its meaning from Polish to English matched and highlighted the monthly commitment to the publication Aleksandra was willing to make. Special editions are going to be made on every April of the year to celebrate the name and its meaning.
Currently, the magazine will remain in a digital version until trust-worthy printing source is found.

First two editions of APril (November and December 2022) were created on a A4 size paper, 210 x 297mm, in procreate. Aprilâs purpose was to simply document Aleksandraâs interests, favorites and creative ideas throughout the month in a visual matter. It became a substitute for her sketchbook and a commitment on which she would always be working regardless of other projects. This monthly publication has been growing and changing since the idea was first constructed in October At Bryant park.
